Lazy Sun-daze

Sunday mornings are the Sweet Spot of any week.

If you awaken early enough to take advantage of the quiet time - before car engines roar and the day's activities begin - you find that sliver of solace no other day can serve up.

On this day, I rolled out of bed with every intention of attending a Yoga class.  I'd gone several days this week... and my body was begging for a break.  So I opted out and instead chose to spend the morning in my favorite place.  By now, you know where that is.

Flour, Sugar, Cinnamon and my remaining homemade Pumpkin Puree - whipped into Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - before my first Down Dog would have even begun.

Fresh out of the oven, they look and smell incredible.

It was the perfect way to ease into my day.

Already in my zone, I readied myself for a positive day.  How can life be anything but beautiful when you start each morning doing what you love...?

Sweet Dreams,
Me

  1. Any day that starts with flour brown sugar cinnamon and the smell of them baking together is a good day. Have you named the inn yet?
