Wine Not?

With some of my Best Friends visiting, I thought it a Perfect Occasion to host a Wine & Cheese soiree.

After a long day full of Family visits, my loved ones would surely welcome a relaxing night at Home. I invited some friends over to fill the air with laughter and love - a comforting backdrop for even the most weary of Guests.

This was precisely the kind of Inn I wanted to create.  One where silence wasn't the abiding rule...but instead where conversation and good cheer took precedence.  I would want the wine to flow and new friends to be made.  

My Sweet Dream entailed a Home away from Home - where folks would come to relax and have fun.  Save the quiet solitude for when your soul need not be fed.  For in MY HOME, no spirit shall ever go hungry.

On the countertop, I fashioned cheese plates adorned with fruit.  Tiny mason jars full of nuts and chocolate bits kept company the empty wine glasses waiting to be filled. 

The Dining Table proved the centerpiece - with a giant arrangement of Flowers sent to me by a very Special Friend - one of the Tiny Angels who now, luckily, inhabits my life.

The lights were dimmed, the fireplace and candles lit... the scene set for a lovely night to be shared amongst truly good Friends.  

The wine quickly flowed as they began to arrive.  And with each sip they took, I knew I was that much closer to tasting my Sweet Dream.  For each time I succeeded in creating an environment that made people feel good, my confidence grew...knowing this is my calling.  THIS is what I love to do.
