Epicurean Ecstasy doesn't even begin to describe what I felt when I stepped foot inside Sur la Table. Wall-to-wall culinary tools with everything tantalizing in between. It was a dangerous place for a Sweet Dreamer like me...for I'd convinced myself no matter what I spent...this was an Investment in my Future.
My mission was to pick up a double boiler, an extra mixing bowl and Cupcake Liners. Within minutes, my basket so heavy I could hardly hold it.
$400 later, I emerged financially drained but emotionally energized!
$400 later, I emerged financially drained but emotionally energized!
Gourmet Bittersweet Chocolate, Red food dye (for my Red Velvet cupcakes), new measuring cups and spoons, cupcake storage containers and so much more. I felt guilty about the money, but I knew the minute they made it into my kitchen that feeling would melt into guilty pleasure.
I was right.
Spread out on my countertop, it all looked so Perfect. It served as my Inspiration for the Big Bake-off this day! I'll save that for my next Blog. For now, my Sugar High was wearing off and sleep was the only thing on the menu.
Sweet Dreams,
Me
