Food for Thought: From the Little Sister

I am miles and miles away from my Dearest Big Sister and Inspirational Sweet Dreamer, but I can feel the electricity that was in the room with her friends even from here. It’s amazing how I can almost taste those yummy looking cupcakes from my keyboard.

As I read the latest Blog, I see that her friends are either in the Process of or Hoping to one day pursue a dream of their own.  I couldn’t help but be propelled into dreams of my own and what they might be. I also found myself asking, ”I wonder if my husband had/has a dream and what it could be”.  Scary that I wouldn’t know that I guess, but also a fun and exciting food for thought conversation for he and I to have. Of course we had our dreams when we were young, like being a singer or winning the lottery, but what are they now?

It seems like there are only a handful of people in this world that Realize you can be happy in what you do. I think it’s easier for most people to believe that doing something you love means giving up the necessities of life. I guess it's just easier to give in to the, "I can't because............." than it is to try to make your dreams happen. I am so proud of my Sister for being one of the few to really try!

Keep it up Big Sister you are already helping to inspire more people then you realize! Just think of your friends and how having that conversation got them excited about their own dreams again. Everyone is excited at first, but then everyday life takes over. I bet you hit the Refresh button for every one of them...just by sharing yours.

I love you, Sister!
